These are the 4 different modes i personally use on monkeytype: I am particularly interested in accuracy and overall consistency of accuracy. English 10k+numbers+punctuation + time:60s quotes+long funbox:58008 + time:60s english+10.
Though, apart from the guide being too long (it has a lot of repetitions) i feel like it. I actually started at typingclub just to get familiar with which finger to type which keys, once i was a comfortable i then progressed to. A minimalistic, customizable typing test.
It's in their about page. Just… wow… r/typing is the place for new and experienced typists alike. Monkeytype consistently has me at a much higher score than typingtest.com, but monkeytype doesn't have any capital letters or numbers, which typingtest.com does have. Coming from that mindset my configuration on monkeytype is very close to what you recommend.
Hi all, i’m wondering if there are any good alternatives to monkey type? I've just updated the section titled monkeytype language settings with video evidence from nothisisjohn, showing a 50 wpm disparity in speed between a set of words that he knows. Keybr is much better as a beginner than monkey type.
