I also don't wish to live very far away from the classes and i think finding any affordable off campus. When should i start looking for it. Right now most places aren’t ready to.

Off campus housing in cp is mostly predatory, but they’re both relatively good choices. However, as a freshmen i recommend living on campus. But, affordable off campus housing is extremely difficult to find. In reality, there are students living in virtually every building near campus and the leasing offices are used to dealing with what that means in terms of finances and so on.
Me and my roommate are looking for off campus housing for next year.
