I just acquired another meylan stopwatch at a small antique mall in ferdinand, in for five bucks, just seemed like to good of a deal to pass up. It was wound “tight” and did not want to. Sounds like the sweep hand is loose.
The timer was also used as an instrument/tool while firing ordinance. Does anyone have an instruction manual or original box for such a watch? The large hand measures seconds in 1/5 sec.
Hi guys hoping you can cast some light i picked up this ww1 stopwatch (artillery timer?) alexander & son of coventry were known makers to the admiralty & army it has the mil issued. The wright bros the sun flyer stopwatch has a serial number 155813 this the racer horse timer has a serial number 152*** the following horse timer also has an identical movement. Please help as i can not find any information on this meylan stopwatch. You have a waltham model 11609 , type a, no.
I see other models, but no references to this one when researching. On the case and movement. However, this won't be the case as it will be the cam on the other side of the dial that is loose. This needs the attention of someone who has fixed these.
It is labeled on the face type 203 d.
