Actually a lot of coverage of everyday subjects is kind of bad because there are fewer. Wikipedia submissions must either be from wikipedia or another wikimedia site (such as the wikimedia commons), or from another source discussing wikipedia or issues relevant to it. I maintain a personal list of what i consider to be some of the most interesting wikipedia articles and, having recently reached 500 entries, i figured i'd share it.

People who still think wikipedia is some completely unreliable source of information. Eli5:why is wikipedia considered unreliable yet there's a tonne of reliable sources in the foot notes? Today's top content from hundreds of thousands of reddit communities.
Don't donate to wikipedia, the people that do the actual work don't get paid at all, donate to them instead, wikipedia gets plenty of donations from corporations and such.
You can find it here. A subreddit to help you keep up to date with what's going on with reddit and other stuff. There used to be an under 4gb zip file of all of wikipedia text that was used on an offline wikipedia device called wikireader. It was able to browse and pull directly from the zip file with out.
Downloading wikipedia is great and all, but it has little useful information in case of emergency.
